Ingredients: Coffee Scrub
- 1/2 Cup of Coffee grounds (i.e. left over from morning coffee). Any brand will be fine.
- 2 Table spoons of fresh lemon juice (or lemon oil)
Benefits:
- Removes dead skin cells by gently exfoliating the surface of the skin.
- Can be used on body and also face.
Ingredients: Coffee Mask
- 1/2 Cup of Coffee grounds (i.e. left over morning coffee). Any brand will be fine.
- 2 Table spoons of fresh lemon juice (or lemon oil)
- 3-4 Table spoons of oil of your choice: Jojoba, olive oil, coconut oil are some examples
- Leave on 5-10 minutes
Benefits:
- Removes dead skin cells by gently exfoliating the surface of the skin.
- Can be used on body and also face.
- If left on for several minutes, caffeine will penetrate the skin and help boast cells which reduce cellulite.
Some of the cons of Coffee scrub and face mask:
- Messy/ clean up may take a few minutes. Benefits however are well worth the extra time spent on cleaning!
- A suggestion would be to have a bowl near by to fill with water and rinse away the fallen coffee grounds.
